The EWG seeks to further APEC goals of facilitating energy trade and investment within APEC economies and ensuring that energy contributes to the enhancement of the APEC community.
APEC Energy Ministers� Meetings (EMMs) provide the EWG with political guidance and directions regarding the development and implementation of its key priorities, initiatives and future work program.
The Expert Group Chairs and APERC meet twice a year in conjunction with EWG meetings to inform each other of the activities of their Expert Groups and to identify areas for cooperation.
